Irish Folk Festival Balver Höhle 2013 was an amazing experience, what a beautiful venue that is! Here’s a video shot by ClonMakeNoise who describes this video as “a fantastic performance from Harmony Glen at the Opening of the Balver Höhle Irish Folk Festival on Thursday 01.08.2013″

Where the Wind Blows is our long-awaited fourth album containing 13 contemporary, folky Harmony Glen tracks. Featuring percussionist Job Verweijen, lots of strange instruments and arrangements and influences from all over the world.Buy this album!
Harmony Glen made this third album because there were so many people who kept asking us if we had recorded certain songs and tunes. We had to answer NO every time. It got boring so we decided to record them all and put them on this album. The result is a lively, uptempo album with loads of great Irish and American style tunes and songs.
Our second album Streaming Tunes is more daring than our first album and boasts influences from all over the world while firmly remaining with our celtic basis. More uptempo tunes and songs that were composed by yours truly create an album that -so we’ve heard- asks for a replay when the last note has faded.
Our very first album was received very well and got great reviews in various magazines in Europe, the UK and the USA. It’s full of Peaceful and balanced traditional Irish songs and tunes and some of our own compositions. “Dirty Linen Magazine (USA) described the album as ‘Better played, and with more feeling than many more geographically attached Irish folk groups’.
We’re all set for our party tomorrow in De Oude Remise! We have no idea how many people will show up, hopefully it will be a total sell out although entrance is free. The whole show will be recorded for DVD and promo purposes by our own personal film crew (Jan Berend and Nel) who are bringing four HD camera’s and Jurgens Audiotechniek who will record the audio.
Here ye! All come to the official Where the Wind Blows CD Launch Party! Starts around 20:30, be there!
We had a fantastic night last saturday at the Keltisch Festival in Hellevoetsluis. It was great to meet our friends the Lowland Paddies again and share the stage at the end of our gig playing three songs together. Mike played along again and we all felt like he has never been gone. Nel and Jan Berend recorded the gig with four HD cams, the result is below![tube]kvdVgsUlPu0[/tube]
